What type of cuisine does Ssäm Bar serve?
We serve a constantly changing menu that draws inspiration from flavors and techniques found worldwide while staying true to our New York roots.

Who is the chef at Ssäm Bar?
Max Ng is the Executive Chef of Ssäm Bar. David Chang is the Chef and Founder of Momofuku.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies?
Yes. Please alert our team of any special dietary needs you have, and they’ll be able to help identify appropriate offerings. Due to our constantly evolving menus, we can make accommodations on a case-by-case basis.

Is Ssäm Bar wheelchair accessible?
Yes.

Do you take reservations? Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes. We offer a variety of reservations but save a portion of the restaurant for walk-ins.

For a la carte dining, you may walk in or reserve for parties up to 6 via OpentableLarge format meals for parties up to 10 may be reserved via Momofuku’s online reservation site. A la carte and large format reservations are taken up to 28 days in advance. Large format bookings require at least 24 hours notice for Monday to Friday reservations. Saturday and Sunday reservations close at 11:30 pm on Thursday evenings.

Prix fixe menus are offered for tables of 7 or more guests, and inquiries can be made here.

We also offer private dining.

Please note, the maximum number of guests able to enjoy the Dry Aged Ribeye and Rotisserie Duck is 6, while the Bo Ssäm and Brisket is 10.  Parties greater than that are asked to participate in one of our prix fixe menus.

For Dry Aged Ribeye and Rotisserie Duck reservations cancelled or abandoned within 48 hours of the time of the reservation will be charged the full price of the dish. Cancelled or abandoned reservations within 24 hours will incur a fee of $50 for the Bo Ssäm and $100 for the Seven Spice Brisket.

Can I have a private event at Ssäm Bar?
Yes. We can accommodate private parties and also offer large reservation options. For more information, email events@momofuku.com.

Can I bring my own wine?
Yes. Our corkage fee is $30 per 750 mls, with a maximum of four bottles per table. Please note, we do not allow corkage for wines that appear on our list.

May I bring an outside cake to my meal?
No. We don’t allow outside food of any kind. Ssäm Bar offers a limited number of its own large format desserts in addition to its normal dessert menu. We can also provide Milk Bar cakes and pies to enjoy with your meal if ordered in advance of your reservation date. For more info, please contact us by sending us a message here.

Do you do take out orders or delivery?
Yes. We offer delivery via Caviar for lunch Monday – Friday and dinner 7 days a week. For take out, you can place an order in person.

Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards can be purchased online or at any of our restaurants. NYC gift cards are redeemable at our restaurants in New York, Washington, and Los Angeles. Please note, Momofuku gift cards are not redeemable at Momofuku Las Vegas or Fuku.
